Yes, you can definitely achieve this, you can simply use seat labels, and we have done it on a large 4,000 seat venue. 


When you select a certain row and assign a ticket type to it, select it again and another option will appear letting you set a prefix letter (which can be a row letter, or even a longer word) and set starting and ending number.

Now, in order for the seat number/label to appear on the ticket, you should place Ticket Type element on the ticket template and as integral part of the ticket type title, seat number/label will be displayed in parentheses next to it. You can use seat labels.
